Manduka, the leading international manufacturer of yoga gear, invites Los Angeles yogis to take the inspiration of your practice beyond the edges of your mat and practice community on Saturday afternoon between 4 and 6 o’clock at Yoga Glo in Santa Monica.
Manduka is throwing a series of free monthly practice community events throughout the summer.
All will have a different practice purpose.
The intention is to get the Los Angeles yoga community together, flowing through poses and rocking out to the sounds of local live music.
This Saturday, the noted yoga instructor Hala Khouri will teach a 90-minute mixed level yoga flow to the divine music of Suzanne Sterling, at 1800 Berkeley St., south of Santa Monica Boulevard, near Nebraska.
It is an opportunity for yogis to relish in the friendship, inspiration and energy of the yoga community. The first 30 people to arrive will receive a new mat sleeve, valued at $75, to keep your mat on our planet protected. Prizes also will be raffled off. Participants will have a chance to donate to Off the Mat, into the World—a program dedicated to bridging the gap between yoga and activism.
