Culver City has launched a new series of yoga, meditation and creative movement classes designed especially for kids, ages 6 to 10.
Directed by well-known yoga instructor Laura Fuller and led by teachers Amy Armstrong and Tessa Cisneros from Life Moves Through Yoga and Meditation, Tuesday afternoon classes are from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. in Culver West Richard Alexander Park, 4162 Wade St.
Classes run in eight-week sessions throughout the year for $80 for Culver City residents (slight additional charge for non-residents).
People of all ages love yoga and benefit from yoga as a way to stay healthy and cultivate peace, well-being and confidence.

Does your child have an amazing energy, joy, creativity or awareness?
Teachers say movement and creativity are so important for kids.
“In our classes,” says Ms. Fuller, “kids and teachers come together to move body, mind and spirit by teaching yoga, meditation and most important of all….creativity.
“People of all ages benefit from the practice of yoga and with young kids yoga creates an excellent opportunity for kids to connect with each other, stretch their bodies and minds and open up their individual creativity.”
