On this day when two of his rivals in last month’s City Council election make their debut on the Big Stage, Scott Wyant is at home rehabbing from brain surgery – maintaining his spiritedly optimistic outlook.
“The truth is,” Mr. Wyant said last evening, “when I awoke this morning, the first thought in my mind was:
“‘I have not felt this good since the day I watched my daughter come into this world.’”
The new week marks an introduction to a new cycle and first-time experiences for the wily Mr. Wyant.
“This week holds the beginnings of all the medical consults that will be filling my time for the near future,” he said.
“Courses of therapy to be pursued and trials to join.
“The whole new journey begins tomorrow.
“I cannot wait.”
