Photo journalist Susan M. Ottalini offers us a remarkable view of this afternoon’s blustery weather at the beach. Look closely because there is more than you first noticed. In Ms. Ottalini’s own words: “Here is a blend of six images. While on another mission, I found a palm-cutter by the beach working in the rain, and I made this image with photoshop. The scene is along Dockweiler State Beach Park, near Waterview Street. I stopped to shoot the clouds when I saw this guy up in the tree. ‘Wow,’ I thought to myself. He has to be 20, 30 feet up there. I was using the new 70-300 mm Canon Lens with the Eos 5D Mark II. I was using the new 70-300 mm Canon Lens with the EOs 5D Mark ll.”
