Diana Martin, mother of Nicole Martin, a former student of Ms. Goldberg’s, explained that their family is supporting the retired teacher for School Board because “she was so dedicated to her students and their well-being. The only item on her agenda is to do what is best for the students. I know she will be an intelligent, knowledgeable Board member.”
Nicole added, “Mrs. Goldberg cared about every student. We always felt that we mattered and had her support in all of our activities.”
Ms. Goldberg is vying for a seat on the School Board after recently retiring as a teacher from Culver City High School. Supporters say that her many years in the classroom make her acutely aware of current issues in the District.
