L.A. Community College Board Trustee Angela J. Reddock continues to pile up a whopping stack of endorsements.
She announced today the L.A. Area Chamber of Commerce has endorsed her in her campaign for re-election to the L.A. Community College District’s Board of Trustees, Seat No. 2, on Tuesday, March 3.
Ms. Reddock, who lives in Westchester, was appointed to the Board almost two years ago, April 11, 2007, replacing Michael Waxman, son of the Congressman, who had resigned.
“The business leaders of Chamber have given me a solid vote of confidence,” Ms. Reddock said.
“I will continue my work on the Board of Trustees to collaborate with Chamber members, to create tens of thousands of new jobs through projects funded by Measure J.
“I plan to meet with Chamber members to advance my (recently announced) proposal to develop a state-of-the-art hybrid and plug-in electric automotive service, maintenance and repair job training facility at one of our campuses. This will promote stable, green jobs that pay a living wage and give workers a future in the Los Angeles area.”
