This won’t take long, did it — the search for a new principal of Culver City High School.
Dylan Farris, assistant principal for guidance and counseling, is expected to be approved as Pam Magee’s successor at Tuesday night’s 7 o’clock School Board meeting in Council Chambers.
Dr. Magee resigned barely a month ago to move to a charter high school in Pacific Palisades.
“Mr. Farris is both well-respected and well-liked, and that is a difficult combination,” said School Board President Scott Zeidman.
After conducting “a full search,” Mr. Zeidman said, “both in-house and elsewhere, I believe he is an excellent choice. I really grilled him, and I came away believing in his enthusiasm and in his ability to lead by example.”
Professionally versatile, one of Mr. Farris’s preferred pastimes is serving as a deejay.
