Selecting the next Superintendent of the Culver City Unified School District may follow the timeline laid out at the bottom of this story. Or it may not, School Board member Scott Zeidman said this afternoon.
“It is tentative and subject to many changes,” he added.
Therefore, what?
If the schedule is at least approximate, the new Super — whether Interim Super Patty Jaffe or someone else — is expected to be announced the last week in January, a normal span for search-and-hire.
Serious work for the School Board does not start until December when they begin screening the Most Desirables. Face-to-face interviews will follow between Christmas and New Year’s.
If, however, they decide to retain Ms. Jaffe, a notion that has been floated this week… But that will be a story for later in the process.
