[img]1646|left|Mr. James||no_popup[/img]Kevin James, the talk-radio host, attorney and strong finisher in the mayor's race, will formally endorse City Attorney Carmen (Nuch) Trutanich's reelection this morning.
“The Trutanich campaign is pleased to welcome Kevin's support,” said Rick Taylor, Mr. Trutanich’s chief strategist.
“Kevin brings an incredibly fresh and vital voice to the debate about how Los Angeles ought to be governed.”
Mr. James surprised the Los Angeles political world with his third-place finish in the last month’s primary election for mayor.
Earlier, Mr. James endorsed City Councilman Eric Garcetti for mayor in the May 21 election.
Said Mr. Taylor of Mr. James:
“Kevin’s campaign was fueled by strong ideas and tremendous energy.”
The list of Trutanich endorsees includes former Los Angeles Mayor Richard Riordan, County Supervisor Gloria Molina and Sheriff Lee Baca.
