Just in Time, NAACP Brings a Job Fair to Town Tomorrow

[Editor’s Note: Given the number of national companies announcing large layoffs because of the looming perceived economic hardships on businesses, this NAACP event is well-timed.]

Are you looking for work or seeking a new career avenue? Do you have a degree from a four-year university or college?

The Professional and Executive Diversity Job Fair – which is free – is coming to Los Angeles tomorrow, and the National Assn. for the Advancement of Colored People is inviting all college graduates to take part. This event provides an opportunity to meet face-to-face with companies that are hiring and looking for experienced candidates.

Executive Diversity Job Fair

Tuesday,10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Embassy Suites LAX Airport North, 9801 Airport Blvd.

Employers are seeking candidates with experience and interest in sales, engineering, government, security, education, military, medical, banking, financial services, and more. The Professional and Executive Diversity Job Fair is open to everyone with a four-year college degree or above, regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, etc.

Among the businesses that will participate are Bank of the West, BDPA, Boeing Aircraft Co., Farmers Insurance, Kaiser, National Society of Black Engineers, Pepperdine University, Prudential Insurance, Southern California Edison, UCLA, USDA Forest Service, the U.S. Marines, Verizon, Vitas Healthcare, andothers.
