Probably good if not great news for the trailing Meghan Sahli-Wells and not good news for Jeff Cooper, who presently leads her by 42 votes in the race for the remaining City Council seat.
A whopping 446 votes are still to be counted — 446 chances to tighten or reverse last night’s semi-official, semi-final count. There are 354 vote-by-mail ballots to be sorted out plus 92 provisional ballots — all of which will be or have been sent to the County Registrar’s office for validation.
