Demonstrating his broad and expanding coalition of support throughout Los Angeles, Mike Feuer announced a key endorsement today, from the Hollywood Chamber Pac.
Hours before, Mr. Feuer gained an endorsement from the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Project Los Angeles County.
The primary election is one month from today, March 5.
The Hollywood Chamber Pac was formed by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which organized in October 1921 to replace the old Hollywood Board of Trade.
It consists of owners, managers, presidents and other key representatives from a spectrum of businesses, charitable and neighborhood organizations around the Hollywood community.
The mission of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is to promote and enhance the business, cultural and civic well-being of Hollywood.
“Mike Feuer has a proven track record of delivering results for the Hollywood business community,” said Sam Smith, Chair of the Chamber Pac. “As our Assemblymember, Mike developed a deep understanding of the issues that matter most to the community and the entertainment industry.
“Mike's plan to restore neighborhood prosecutors throughout Los Angeles is just what we need to keep L.A.’s streets safe so businesses can operate. “
Mr. Feuer appended the following note:
“Having the support of business, labor, environmentalists, and so many other important organizations demonstrates that I have assembled a winning coalition of groups that have tremendous influence with key constituencies throughout the city.”
Last week Mr. Feuer picked up an endorsement from the United Teachers Los Angeles.
