Just in time for the holidays, the Friends of the Culver City Youth Health Center will host an exhibit and sale of the work of a Culver City resident, the artist and author Francia Turner Fate.

The boutique will be on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 23, 2 to 4, at 5502 Sawtelle Blvd. Ms. Turner Fate will donate 25 percent of sales to the Friends group to help support the services of the Health Center.

For the past 10 years Ms. Turner Fate has donated a selection of her fine art to the Health Center’s annual fundraiser. The children of Culver City have benefited from her continuing support.

She is an award winning author and artist who has exhibited her work throughout the United States, Britain, South America and Australia. A variety of Ms. Turner Fate’s unique pieces will be displayed, featuring her children’s books, boldly designed art glass jewelry, and fine art.

This will be an opportunity to own a one-of-a-kind creation or to give a special gift during the holidays and help the Health Center continue its work.

The Health Center is on the campus of Culver City High School and Middle School. Free physical and mental health services are provided to children living in Culver City or attending Culver City schools. The nonprofit Center is supported through grants and donations. The Friends group is the fundraising arm of the Health Center.
