School Board candidate Nancy Goldberg has gained early endorsements from current and former elected officials, according to her campaign chairs, Stephen and Sandy Schwartz.
Among them are three members of the Board, Karlo Silbiger, Patricia Siever and Steve Gourley.
City Councilman Chris Armenta and former mayors Paul Jacobs, Gary Silbiger and Dr. James Boulgarides are supporting Ms. Goldberg.
Former School Board presidents Jessica Beagles-Roos, Mike Eskridge and Dr. Wanda Boulgarides are on the list along with former Board member Barbara Honig, who is an Honorary Chair.
A recently retired teacher, Ms. Goldberg officially will launch her campaign on Sunday afternoon, from 3 to 6, at the home of Michael and Judy Bauer, 10676 Esterina Way, Culver Crest. The Bauers also are Honorary Chairs.
