During his years as a senior aide to former state Sen. Curren Price (D-Culver City), Mr. Ridley-Thomas was known for being organized and well-ordered.
“Culver City and the 54th Assembly District will be well-positioned during this legislative session,” he promised. “We are hitting the ground running.”

A familiar figure in state politics for years, Mr. Harris, a popular and congenial background official previously with former Gov. Gray Davis, has served on the staff of Mark Ridley-Thomas, the Assemblyman’s father, since he was elected to the County Board of Supervisors five years ago.
