A Culver City police officer yesterday shot and killed a suspected robber who was armed, according to the County Sheriff’s Dept.
The officer has not been identified.
No information was immediately available on the identity of the suspect.
Police stopped a couple driving near the intersection of Motor Avenue and Venice Boulevard.
Apparently while the woman driver was being questioned, the male passenger left the car. Fearing for his safety, an officer shot the passenger, who was pronounced dead later at a hospital.
