[Editor’s Note: Here is the email that was sent on Monday by the Culver Crest Neighborhood Assn. to the City Council candidates who will participate in their first forum in two weeks tomorrow evening.]
Hello all candidates.
Please find enclosed the Rules of Engagement for the True Debate this Thursday evening, March 13, 2008, starting at 6:30 p.m. to be held in the Cafetorium of El Rincon School. We hope to have the best attendance at any of the city's community events. All of the candidates have been invited, and I am informed you have all agreed to attend.
If any of you have questions about the debate, please call me or email me at the numbers below.
We want each of you to have some fun, but come prepared. The questions are not easy, and they will require your best focus and energy. It will be my job to moderate, and I trust you will grant me your patience and cooperation. In return, I promise not to upstage you and offer you as much opportunity to speak as time allows.
Our membership is informed, and I’m told many non-members who are active in the community, both in Culver City and outside, will be attending. It should be the event of the campaign and I hope you come prepared.
Thanks for your participation. I welcome your calls. Good luck to all of you.
Mark Salkin, Vice President, Culver Crest Neighborhood Assn.
