In the past Mr. Clarke, a candidate for re-election on April 8, has been on a Police Dept. ridealong, and he was the first Councilman to go on a Parking Enforcement ridealong. He even helped to recover a stolen car. His future plans are to ride with a Sanitation Crew, Street Repair Crew, and a Culver City bus driver.
“This is a way for me to gain a better understanding of the work our city employees do for all of us all the time,” Mr. Clarke said. “We tend to take the excellent services we have here in our city for granted. Our workers help make the city a desirable place to live and work, and we do appreciate their efforts.”
