The artwork of Emma Juncosa, a junior at Culver City High School, a student in the Academy of Visual and Performing Arts program, recently was juried and selected as part of a nationwide exhibition for the New Hampshire Institute of Art's “High School Drawing” exhibition.
Competition was open to high school students across the nation.
Ms. Juncosa was the only student from the West Coast whose artwork was chosen for this exhibit.
Ms. Juncosa is now eligible for $10,000 institutional scholarships and other workshops.
The exhibit will be on view from Friday, Feb. 22 through Saturday, March 16, in the French Building Gallery at the New Hampshire Institute of Art.
