Our May union meeting will be held tomorrow at the Culver City Middle School , Room 134. All teachers are welcome. We start at 3:30, and we will be done by 5.
We have been inviting School Board members to attend our meetings, individually, as we work to maintain positive relationships with these elected officials.
Karlo Silbiger has met with us; Kathy Paspalis cancelled last month (indicating that she did not want to attend a meeting chaired by me !); and Pat Siever is expected tomorrow.
Our tentative agenda is:
1. Bargaining update
2. Budget discussion: Governor's May Revise, which came out this morning.
3. School Board election — endorsement process/early action?
4. Followup to last Friday’s “Day of Action.”
5. New business/next meeting.
6. Discussion with Board member Pat Siever.
