Friends and neighbors, as well as new supporters from across Culver City, came together to buttress his quest for a seat on the City Council in the April 13 election.
“Culver City is a great community,” Mr. Cooper said.
“I want to ensure that it remains great into the future so my daughters, if they so choose, can call this place I love home.”
Supporter Jim Krause lent his culinary skills as he flipped dozens of pancakes.
“I am thankful for people like Jeff who care about their community and who want to make a positive difference,” Mr. Krause said.
Former Mayor Alan Corlin, who attended the breakfast, said, “By any measurement, Jeff’s breakfast was a success.
“Not only did people come away satisfied with excellent pancakes, they came away satisfied that Jeff is the ‘Right Choice – Right Now.’
Mr. Cooper thanked the volunteers who came to help with the breakfast, The Conservatory for supplying the coffee and John Riordan of Riordan Plumbing for lending his trusty grill.
