To our wonderful community:
On January 28, 2009, we lost our dear friend and colleague, Lt. Curt Massey. Since then, we have been overwhelmed by the love and support all of you have showered upon us.
We received cards, flowers, food, donations, and other needful assistance from you — the citizens, elected officials, various City departments and police agencies, restaurateurs, entertainers, funeral service providers, counselors and many, many others.
There is not enough space to list every person or business that has come to our aid.
We're all tough guys and gals here. So, if you saw what you thought were tears in our eyes, they were probably just spontaneous, contagious, severe hay fever. We hear it's going around.
We are deeply touched to know that we were not going through our heartache alone. The men and women of the Culver City Police Officers' Assn. love the community we so proudly serve and say the two words which, while woefully inadequate, is all we have: Thank you.
