The Culver City Cultural Affairs Foundation has launched a community campaign to raise funding for the city’s cultural event programming, which was lost when the state eliminated the Redevelopment Agency and all others in California. The Cultural Affairs Foundation is a nonprofit organization that promotes and supports historic preservation, public art and cultural programming by seeking out and securing private and public sector funding.

The Cultural Affairs campaign accepts grants, business contributions and individual donations. The City of Culver City has a history of offering free and accessible cultural programming for the community.

Past productions have included the Culver City Music Festival, an annual summer concert series; Made in Culver City film program celebrating the classic films produced in the Heart of Screenland; and Music in the Chambers featuring musicians from the Los Angeles Philharmonic Assn.

Donations from Culver City residents and business owners will help save cultural events that provide opportunities for arts enrichment, education and community engagement. Donations to the Foundation are tax deductible. Credit card donations may be made via www.culvercity.org/donate.

Checks may be made payable to the Culver City Cultural Affairs Foundation. Mail to:
