P.U.P. Plus People Made Polish-up Day a Success
The Friends of the Culver City Dog Park want to thank the wonderful volunteers who made the third P.U.P. (Polish Up the Park) Day a week ago last Saturday a success.
We put up temporary shade structures, spread decomposed granite, put up new signage including No Smoking signs, cleaned pooper scoopers, benches, bulletin boards, and much more. The temporary time-out area (15-minute maximum) for energetic dogs who need a time-out is nearly done.
Dog Park Leaders Make a National Presentation
Two executives from the Friends of the Culver City Dog Park Chair Vicki Daly Redholtz and Fundraising Chair Dean Gebroe, DVM attended the National DOG Symposium and Conference in Morristown, N.J., on Saturday, April 28.
Dr. Gebroe and Ms. Daly Redholtz gave a presentation about their experiences organizing, fundraising and building a Dog Park in an urban environment.
