Your essay about your brother touched my heart and soul…..a wonderful relationship like the one you had needs to be told….thank you. This is the time of year I remember, and say "Goodbye. Again." to my son. He died in 1999 – is it already 15 years? April 27 would have been his 45th birthday. I am also reminded because this is the time of year we make the scholarship awards at my university, Cal State L.A., and there is a David Cameron Fisher scholarship given to a Biology major that we established in his memory. Some years ago I wrote a poem that I now share with the awardees each year. I thought you might like to see it.
