Celebrating on Main Street, Santa Monica, on Sunday
Dateline Santa Monica -- Back by popular demand, on Sunday, the Main Street Business Improvement Assn. of Santa Monica will throw its 14th annual Summer SOULstice Festival. Visitors will have an opportunity to enjoy live music, sidewalk sales, shopping, munching. Fifteen bands on five stages will entertain the crowds from 1 o’clock to 7, and fill the streets of Santa Monica with tunes including that of the Paul Chesne Band, Neil Deal (a Neil Young tribute band), Babylon Saints (reggae-rock). By attending the event, visitors will participate in raising money for one of Santa Monica’s favorite charities, Heal the Bay.
