Health Center Holiday Boutique Will Be Next Week

Just in time for the holidays, the Friends of the Culver City Youth Health Center will host an exhibit and sale of the work of a Culver City resident, the artist and author Francia Turner Fate. The boutique will be on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 23, 2 to 4, at 5502 Sawtelle Blvd. Ms. Turner Fate will donate 25 percent of sales to the Friends group to help support the services of the Health Center.

LaRose Will Speak Next Week at Health Center Meeting

School District Supt. Dave LaRose will be the featured speaker next week at the Friends of the Culver City Youth Health Center’s annual meeting. The library on the campus of Culver City High School will host the meeting Thursday, Nov. 21, at 7 o’clock.

Clarke Kicks Off on Dec. 1 for April Election

City Councilman Jim Clarke will kick off his re-election campaign two weeks from Sunday, on the afternoon of Dec. 1. Preparing for the election on April 8, Mr. Clarke’s event will be at the home of Mr. Culver City, Mike Cohen, 4378 Jasmine St., from 2 o’clock to 4.

A Theatre Outing for Vizcarra Supporters

The campaign to elect Claudia Vizcarra to School Board invites the community to a fundraiser for the candidate on Sunday, Oct. 13. A box lunch in Media Park, provided by the Tito’s Tacos, will be followed by a seat at the play Oy! at The Actor’s Gang Theater at the Ivy Substation.

Health Center Fundraiser Is Next Saturday

There still is time to purchase reservations for the major annual fundraiser by the Friends of the Culver City Youth Health Center on Saturday, March 16, at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Culver City. Tickets are $85 until Monday. At the door, the price is $95. A special rate is available for certificated and classified staff and their spouses.

Farris to be Honored at Health Center’s March 16 Fundraiser

The Friends of the Culver City Youth Health Center is hosting its annual major fundraiser on Saturday, March 16, the DoubleTree by Hilton, Culver City. Dylan Farris, Principal of Culver City High School, will be honored for his leadership and dedication in promoting the best education for the children of the Culver City Unified School District.
