Health Center Program: How Schools Help Needy Families

The Friends of the Sandy Segal Youth Health Center will have their annual meeting on Wednesday evening at 7 in the Board Room of the School District offices, 4034 Irving Pl. Drew Sotelo, Director of School and Family Support Services for the School District, will be the featured speaker. He will discuss “Culver City Schools Help the Homeless and Culver Families with Need.”

Here is a way for all of us to obtain excellent bargains and help the Friends of the Culver City Youth Health Center in their fundraising efforts for this year. Bidding For Good is an online auction site where nonprofit groups can run auctions to assist in their projects. The Friends group is the fundraising arm of the Health Center, which is on the campus of Culver City High School and Culver City Middle School. The proceeds of this auction will support the free ongoing physical and mental health programs at the Center.
