A recent survey conducted by Fairbank, Maslin, Maullin, Metz & Associates shows former Assembly member Mike Feuer, wide winner of the March 5 primary, in a dominant position to win the race for Los Angeles City Attorney over incumbent Carmen Trutanich on May 21.

Demonstrating his broad and expanding coalition of support throughout Los Angeles, Mike Feuer announced a key endorsement today, from the Hollywood Chamber Pac. Hours before, Mr. Feuer gained an endorsement from the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Project Los Angeles County.

Mike Feuer today secured one of the most sought-after endorsements in the race for Los Angeles City Attorney with the announcement that Earvin (Magic) Johnson is backing his candidacy. Mr. Johnson's endorsement gives Mr. Feuer a hefty dose of momentum entering the final six weeks of the campaign leading up to the March 5 primary.

Dominating his competition in the race to earn sought-after endorsements from the groups voters respect the most, today Mike Feuer won the prized endorsement of the California Federation of Teachers, the statewide affiliate of the American Federation of Teachers. The CFT represents faculty and other school employees in public and private schools and colleges, from early childhood through higher education.

On the heels of his endorsement this week from former Assembly Speaker Bob Hertzberg and the announcement that he’s brought in more than $1.2 million for the primary election, today Mr. Feuer received a crucial environmental endorsement from the Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters. This endorsement comes after Mr. Feuer previously won the Sierra Club endorsement.
