The behavior of the U. S. Postal Service has become intolerable. The agency's gross abuse of its employees has come to rival that of a Third World country. It is essential that we bring this kind of citizen abuse to an end. Postal employees are a test case. If we quietly allow this to go on, the entire American middle class will be reduced to field hands.

Let me ask you the above question:

Do you trust the Republicans to show you Christian charity?

Many conservatives, including syndicated talk show host Sean Hannity, have advocated that reciting the Pledge of Allegiance be made mandatory for children in the nation's schools.

The American propaganda machine tells us that Muslims are a hostile people who hate American freedom.

I received such a huge response from people across the country regarding my article on Dr. Richard Allen Williams that I've decided to add a permanent feature to my column. I will call it "A Tribute to Excellence," and use it as a platform to highlight both the character and accomplishments of those who bring excellence to our community.

Every Sunday, preachers across this country are preaching about hell and damnation. They claim that if we don't repent and change our ways, we are going to die and suffer hell's fury throughout eternity. While a powerful pitch, that is not actually how things work.

Regular readers know I am an aggressive advocate of redefining the skewed cultural mores of the Black community.

Don't laugh. Standing up for justice is no laughing matter. A federal statute regarding time fraud is on the books. It is clear. It is a federal crime. The time has come to see to it that adherence to that statute is not ignored. 18 U.S.C. § 1001 reads as follows:

The United States Postal Service is running a latter-day plantation. It has been documented by Members of Congress and arbitrators that the Postal Service is routinely falsifying employee clock rings, subjecting its employees to harassment, intimidation, and abuse, and forcing many employees to work four to six hours a day without pay.

The founding fathers understood the dangers of vacillating public sentiment, so they established the Constitution to protect America from the ebb and flow of public opinion. The Constitution was designed to set in place values from which the nation should never deviate in response to public sentiment.
