Dateline Dayton – I will delay the final installment if our Florida trip for a sad reason. Last Friday, a good friend died, a fellow church member, a high school classmate, a neighbor while we were growing up in Piqua, and here in Kettering for the past 35 years.

Dateline Dayton – You may remember last week I told you about my grandson, Ryan Casey, climbing into a burning car to save a man who was trapped. Ryan’s heroic efforts, along with those of his coaches, have been written about in three newspapers serving Niles, MI, and they have been interviewed by two television stations.

Dateline Dayton – I was summoned for jury duty this week. Interesting cases will be going to court in the near future, and I wouldn’t mind being on the jury for any of them. One even involves my church. Probably would be dismissed from that one.
