By Les Greenberg. Ari Noonan, you do not understand that the Farragut Drive residents are not asking the City Council to do anything. The Grace Lutheran Church wants something, and thus must prove its case. It has not yet shown that it has any parking problem. Yet any parking problem supposedly has been caused by Farragut. Can you tell me one problem? Just one.

As they say on the TV news, sometimes, in the interests of full disclosure, I have lived in Culver City since 1973 on Farragut Drive between the CCUSD Elenda Street Complex and Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. I wonder how many students were from out-of-district back then? Any headline posted with this piece probably was not written by me.

Did Councilperson/Attorney Andrew Weissman suffer an ethical lapse when he attempted to strip residents of the 10700 block of Farragut Drive from the preferential parking that has been in place since 1982? Those parking restrictions curb intrusions caused by persons attending the 49-weekly activities at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church.

An Estonian border guard was abducted from Estonia by Russian soldiers, taken into Russia and accused of being a spy. This is how Putin replies to Mr. Obama's "tough talk". Interested persons, without restrictions, are allowed to participate in that discussion.
