Another Vote for the City Manager to Leave Immediately

Thank you, Greg Smith, for your First Person essay of Oct. 21 (Fulwood Should Go Now — City Can’t Afford to Wait Until Next Spring. Keywords Greg Smith/Fulwood).

Every time I see a sidewalk that’s left busted for decades, every time the city jacks up fees and taxes, every time I find City Hall closed for their three-day weekends, every time I read about how Culver City picks our pockets faster than any other municipality, I think of City Manager Jerry Fulwood and how he used this town as his own, personal ATM.

First she allowed the hospital to deteriorate.

Then, after hearing the people’s testimonies and protests, as you may recall, Supervisor Burke, instead of finding competent administrators, shut down a hospital desperately needed in that community.

Exploring the Motivations of Supporters of an Animal Control Officer

The issue of local animal control is multifaceted and problematic both in the way Culver City must approach it and the way it is ultimately implemented.

In my opinion, the making of the recent Animal Control Officer decision as a two-year pilot program was based on emotion and on campaign promises, not on fiscal responsibility.
