Dateline Dayton – Last weekend was our garage sale, and I am very pleased with the results. I wish more of my items had sold, but I will have another opportunity to unload them when I join my sister and her granddaughter for a sale in Piqua one weekend away, June 7-8. For that event I will add some of Piqua items.

Dateline Dayton – Last Tuesday evening, our granddaughter Ashley graduated from Madison High School in nearby Middletown, a wonderful event, and she received many honors. We are proud of her accomplishments and activities throughout her high school years.

Dateline Dayton – Not unlike other areas of this great country, Ohio lately has been on the receiving end of bad publicity. The bombings in Boston, mass shootings elsewhere are the most obvious samples. I wish I knew the reason for this violence. Does it have anything to do with our political correctness, which is removing God and religion from our surroundings, especially schools.
