Dateline Dayton -- After much stress and frustration, we finally received word last Thursday evening that our closing was going to take place at 4 on Friday. Since we didn't expect the closing would happen until this week, some tasks needed to be completed. Pauline and I went over later. While she tidied up, I sanded the walls in my den and tackled a few other projects.

Dateline Dayton -- Last week I told you about the deal on our house falling through. On Friday evening, I got an email from my realtor, which she forwarded from the former purchaser's realtor. They claimed they were still interested in the house. In addition, the purchaser had received a verbal approval on their mortgage. They were meeting with the mortgage company on Monday.

Dateline Dayton -- In the accounting profession, crunch time is fast approaching although for me it already is here.
