Lisa Michel directs the AVPA’s Chamber Singers who will perform several pieces arranged by Ms. Michel herself, including a caroling medly and "Maoz Tzur." They’ll also sing a 14th century song, "A Spotless Rose," a wonderfully funny "Banquet Fugue" and "You Are the New Day."

AVPA senior Mimi Markoe will help Mr. Spano lead AVPA’s Jazz Combo in "Don’t Get Around Much Anymore" and "Grazing in the Grass."

Paul Witt, who teaches choir at the Middle School will be directing his students in "Light the Candles of Freedom," "Thanksgiving Calypso," "But the Dog Really Did Eat My Homework," and one of their holiday favorites, "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer."

"The concert itself will be a lot of fun,” said Mr. Spano. “But we also have quite a finale planned for our audience. All of our choir students, accompanied by the band, will sing a wonderful medley of holiday favorites."
