The second concert in the Summer Music Festival series in the Courtyard of City Hall will featuring the ringing sounds of reggae tonight at 7 o’clock.
Producer Gary Mandell will present Ghana’s Rocky Dawuni and his ll-piece band.
Mr. Dawuni fuses reggae, soul and traditional African sounds.
Charity also is on his mind. He is a spokesperson for various causes worldwide. Mr. Dawuni won the Best African Artist award at the International Reggae & World Music Awards 2011 where he was also nominated for Best Album for his most recent project, “Hymns.”
Before or after the free concert, dozens of dining options are within comfortable walking distance. Even the parking is free.
