Re “I Have Sympathy for This Man

Former Penn State football Coach Joe Paterno is a graduate of the same high school I graduated from.

We are taught the Christian way of living.

Joe's punishment does not fit the crime.

It is too easy.

He knew it, and did nothing.

The damage done to sexually abused children is devastating.

Suicide is the majority.

Anyone who knows of and does nothing about sexual abuse should be jailed, not fired.

There is absolutely no excuse for hiding your head in the sand. The victim always will live with the humiliation and sense of no security when no one comes to his or her aid. He knew, reported it, and saw nothing done. That is the crime.
