U.S. Karen Bass (D-Cylver City) and state Assemblymember Holly Mitchell (D-Culver City) have announced their endorsement of Nancy Goldberg for the School Board in the Nov. 8 election.

Ms. Bass serves as the 33rd District representative in the U.S. House.
Previously she was speaker of the California Assembly, the first African American woman in the country to hold the title.
Mrs. Goldberg was introduced by Ms. Bass to the audience at the Congresswoman’s Town Hall for Education Reform on Wednesday.
Ms. Mitchell was elected to represent the 47th Assembly District last November. Her office is in Culver City. . She expressed confidence in Mrs. Goldberg to serve on the School Board.
Mrs. Goldberg has received support from every endorsing organization in the community. She recently retired from teaching at Culver City High School.
