Remember your first ride on a Ferris wheel, your first prize from a game booth, your first whiff of cotton candy?

Promising to be the greatest show on earth, the Culver City Lions Carmageddon Carnival will entertain kids of all ages this weekend at Westfield Culver City.

Rip-roaring rides, game booths and fun food will highlight the important Lions Club fund raiser. Proceeds from the event pay for professional eye doctors to conduct comprehensive visual exams free of charge to Culver City school children, senior citizen meals, youth and adult scholarships and many more local charities.

“Westfield Culver City has been a great partner with our community,” said Lu Rivas, event chairperson for the local Lions. “We’re excited about this special opportunity for all families to stay close to home on Carmageddon weekend,”

Carnival hours are 5 to 9 on Friday, 10 to 10 on Saturday and 11 to 7 on Sunday.

“This family fun event provides a great platform for Westfield Culver City to partner with the Lions to give back to this town and the wonderful local charities of the Lions,” said Chuck Martinez, General Manager of Westfield Culver City.
