Offended by two claims from a School Board candidate he was certain were untrue, a prominent person emailed yesterday to strongly complain and seek at least a correction if not an apology.
Mr. Prominent Person was 24 hours early.
Had he waited until day to hear President Obama’s astonishing swipe at sophistry in Sweden, he would have joined 98 percent of his fellow Americans falling away in shock.
‘Tis a pity, with the frequency of his shaved-headed lies, that Swish Obama is not running for the Culver City School Board this autumn.
At least here he would be called a liar to his face.
And for his next trick, Swish will deny that he was born in Kenya, that he is a registered Democrat and that he is 50 percent Chinese.
The news below actually happened a few hours ago.
“Speaking at a press conference in Stockholm this morning, ahead of a global economic summit in Russia where he will seek to rally support for a U.S. military strike against Syria, President Obama said the ‘red line’ he set against a year ago against Syria’s use of chemical weapons isn’t his, but an international standard. ‘I didn’t set a red line, the world set a red line,’ Mr. Obama said. ‘My credibility’s not on the line. The international community’s credibility is on the line. And America and Congress’s credibility’s on the line.” – From McClatchy Newspapers
“Though the ‘red line’ Mr. Obama first spoke of more than a year ago has been cast as a standard that he set — and that is forcing him to act — the President insisted it wasn’t his own construct but a clear international standard. ‘That’s not something I just made up. I didn’t pluck it out of thin air,’ he said. ‘I didn’t set a red line. The world set a red line.’” – Politico
After bombing Syria with “my military,” Mr. Obama’s next targets likely will be all of the Christian world’s confessionals.
