Impressive Mar Vista Gardens turnout last Friday for Verizon volunteer day.
As part of the Verizon FiOS SoCal Experience campaign, Culver City Verizon employees participated in a volunteer day last Friday to improve the state of the Tech Center at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica’s Mar Vista Gardens branch, the Jack & Cindy Jones Youth Center.
A key facet of the FiOS SoCal Experience is support for local causes. Verizon and the local community team up to support three non-profit organizations in each phase of the campaign, which already has donated $32,000 to non-profits throughout Southern California.
The volunteer day spanned seven hours, from 8 until 3.

“We are excited about the work they are doing to improve our Tech Center at our Mar Vista Gardens branch. We know the positive impact this partnership will have on the youth of Mar Vista Gardens, as well as the surrounding community.”
