Engaging Parents for One Night Next Week at the High School

[img]2802|right|||no_popup[/img]Next week Culver City High School will hold its Parent Engagement Night – an evening of informative workshops and discussions on topics ranging from college admissions, career pathways to social media and middle-to-high school transitions.

On Thursday, Feb. 26,  the 2½-hour Parent Engagement Night will start at 5:30 at the high school.

This is an evening for high school parents and families to gain awareness and obtain resources to help students be successful in high school and beyond.

Parents may choose three 30-minute workshops to attend from the list below. Families may want to separate to participate in more workshops during each session.

Even though children may want parents to stay farther away at the high school, there are ways of staying informed about what is going on. The PTSA at CCHS also offers opportunities to be involved.

Engaging Students in Mathematics

In this workshop, parents will experience a Common Core math lesson structure in order to better understand how students engage in mathematics in the 21st century.

Supporting Your Student’s Arts Education Through the AVPA Program
