Mark This Down: One Penny for Barabak’s Thoughts

The unintentionally funniest line in this morning’s Los Angeles Titanic was penned by Mark (I Hate Republicans) Barabak. He is one of the leading spinners of fairy tales in what passes for contemporary journalism. For a hardline leftist, this hardly makes him novel, although he routinely writes loaded propaganda, the stuff of novels, in nearly all of his “news” stories and analyses. The typical left-wing Titanic reader cannot draw a distinction reporting and interpreting, but then neither can Mr. B.

Around since the 1970s, Mr. Barabak is a myth builder, which has nothing to do with anyone’s lithp.

Mr. Barabak has dedicated a significant portion of his pockmarked career to perpetuating untruths about Republicans.

One of his pet deliberately wrongheaded causes concerns the notion that angelic children whose ages still are in single digits, crack open their Alice in Wonderland piggy banks once a week, scamper down to the Post Office and smilingly mail their precious pennies to Mommy and Daddy’s favorite pure Democrat. Evil Republicans, meanwhile, don’t have time for little people or little money. They take it from corporate terrorists such as the hourly vilified Koch brothers. The Kochs, possibly America’s most generous family, have become better known, for the wrong reasons, than God and Barack Somebody this election cycle.

Writing this morning about how the Democrats (naturally) may fend off the GOP and retain control of the Senate five weeks from tomorrow, Mr. Barabak dreamily writes yet another raggedly recycled fib while richies George Soros, Tom Steyer and Barack Somebody laugh up their silk sleeves.:

“Part of the reason (the once-underdog Democrats still are at least even money to retain a majority) is money. Democrats, unexpectedly, have had more of it this year than Republicans.”

Mr. Barabak’s reliable web of lies casts the Democrats as historically poverty struck and GOP candidates as filthy. He learned from Hitler, repeat a lie often enough and liberals, free of skepticism, will swallow whole.

Fact, Mr. B: In 2008, Barack Somebody, less well-known than your dead uncle’s late barber’s unborn step-daughter, outraised globally known John McCain by more than 2 to 1.

Fact, Mr. B: In the 2010 mid-terms, Dems, using pennies alone, no doubt, outraised the GOP $119 million to $79 million.

Fact, Mr. B: In the 2012 Presidential election, Mitt Romney – demonized by Dems as the only rich man who ever competed for the White House, was, ahem, was outraised by that late state Senate nonentity from Illinois, Barack (I Love Pennies) Nobody.

That is three cycles in a row, pal.

Would you like a penny for my thoughts?
