Well, what took them so long? We've been beating this drum for a long time … and where was the oversight of retiring U.S. Rep. Henry Waxman, and U.S. Sens. Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer?
The General Accountability Office report detailing widespread mismanagement of land-use agreements at the West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
The Office of the Inspector General is also conducting an investigation into possible criminal violations involving at least one land-use agreement at the West Los Angeles VA.
VA Secretary Robert McDonald must immediately terminate two-time defendant and two-time loser Donna Beiter, as well as Ralph Tillman, Chief of Communications and External Affairs. Mr. Tillman was instrumental in negotiating and signing the illegal enhanced sharing agreements as the contracting officer.
Secretary McDonald must also demand repayment from the Veterans Park Conservancy for the $1 million of Veterans’ heathcare money the VA spent on the pretentious fence to beautify the entryway into Brentwood. (See attachments below.)
