I’ll Let You Go
When time, done touching the surface of the Earth,
Will vanish, bored and forgotten,
When light, both born and unbegotten,
Will dim away with no return…
I 'll let you go… I 'll let you go…
And you, like wind so young and wild,
Will leave me, never said goodbye,
With the smile of a sinless child
You'll fly away into the sky…
And I will watch you through the open window,
On which I've never put the lock,
And two old hands of a broken clock
Won't stop you…
I 'll let you go… I 'll let you go…
