They were so impressive the first time they have been invited back.
The Academy of Visual and Performing Arts of Culver City High School will stage its Fall Dance Concert Encore on Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock and 4.
Everyone will assemble at the main entry to the campus for “A Walking Nightmare,” after rain earlier postponed the last two scheduled performances.
This very special dance event features dances especially choreographed for the sites in which they are performed — trees and shrubbery, bike racks and corridors, stairs and stoops.
Touring the front and center of the Culver High campus, an array of dances will be hauntingly and humorously presented to the songs from The Nightmare Before Christmas composed by Danny Elfman.
A dance event for the entire family —
A Walking Nightmare has been praised as an unforgettable feat of creativity!
No need to RSVP – tickets, $10 for general admission, will be sold at the main entrance gate to the CCHS campus.
This outdoor performance will be presented in various locations around campus. Guests are asked to wear comfortable shoes and clothes appropriate for outdoor weather.
