Dr. Josh Arnold, entering his second week as superintendent of the School District, will spend part of his third week addressing the Chamber of Commerce’s popular Issues & Eggs Forum.
He will be the featured speaker on Wednesday, Sept. 7, at 7:30 a.m., at the Courtyard by Marriott, 6333 Bristol Parkway.
Dr. Arnold, who was with the Los Alamitos Unified School District as assistant superintendent, officially began his term last month.
His youthfulness and enthusiasm for his tasks may remind some of his predecessor, Dave LaRose.
The impression should not last long because Dr. Arnold brings not only a distinct but distinguished portfolio to Culer City.
“Business leaders in Culver City should know and understand the direction of our schools,” said Steve Rose, Chamber CEO and president.
“The students in our schools today will be future employees and business leaders themselves. Understanding them is one of our most important goals as leaders in the business community.”
Mr. Rose said the Chamber is the only community-based organization to have supported all parcel tax and school bond issues over the last 25 years.”
