A New Take on Yoga

I am reaching out to the community on behalf of our new yoga plus creative events plus community space, Create Yoga, opening on July 10, one week from Sunday, at 2828 Santa Monica Blvd.

From changing the industry and making space for creative jobs to building community and giving back to charities – there’s a lot that sets Create apart from what recently has become the norm.

What sets Create Yoga apart:

  • Our furniture was all custom-built. With our hands. We are three girls Selah, Jennifer and Marissa, the owners of Create Yoga. One concrete grinder. And so many more ridiculous tools and stories. We take our own photos, too. From the ground up.
  • Our focus is on community partnerships and creative events. We will be having three monthly events plus acro playtime and 40 yoga classes each week.

There will be two tiers of memberships: (1) monthly unlimited yoga and (2) all access passes (monthly events plus yoga). We are en route to creating mutually beneficial partnerships in L.A. with a variety of companies.

We believe in a zero exploit policy. Every company we show support to is out of genuine love and authenticity.

We will be giving back to charities (on a rotating basis) with designated classes, regularly. We will partner with outstanding companies to continue to facilitate fun, popular events that make a meaningful impact on causes we believe in.

We are beginning the giving back with a Go Fund Me to offer early-bird pricing opportunities and rewards.

We are doing an open house space daily, from 1 o’clock to 4. Members and the public can use open workspace for WiFi, meetings, practice, relaxing, networking, dance parties, complimentary tea and snacks.

Our soft opening is Sunday, July 10.

Our grand opening will be Saturday, July 16.

These two events specifically will be free, with yoga, DJs, live standup/improv comedy, deep house plus glow yoga, tea tables, some vendors and food/drink samples from sponsors, arts and crafts, mediation and intention setting.

With yoga, health plus wellness, and the related music and arts festival businesses becoming so popular, especially in L.A., we hope readers will be excited about Create Yoga’s innovative ideas.

I hope we can make magic happen.
