Good morning, Mr. Kane:
Beginning on March 9, 2008, the Old Veterans Guard led a peaceful protest that initiated two ACLU lawsuits against VA officials.
The result was two federal judgments. One was for violating my Constitutional right to free speech when we displayed the American lag in distress – in full compliance with the U.S. Flag Code – signifying to the public that disabled homeless Veterans lives and their legally deeded property were in “extreme danger.”
The second lawsuit and subsequent federal judgment confirmed that indeed homeless Veterans lives were in extreme danger as was their lawful land. Judge S. James Otero adjudicated real estate between the VA and nine non-Veteran entities “unauthorized by law and therefore void.”
Instead of honoring the “clear and unambiguous” rule of law, your boss, VA Secretary Robert A. McDonald, met behind closed doors with two of his powerful friends, attorneys Bobby Shriver and Ron Olson. Neither is a Veterans.
Mr. McDonald finagled a Trojan horse sham settlement that benefited the nine rich and greedy illegal occupants at the expense of war-injured homeless Veterans.
You lied. You said you would end Veteran homelessness by the end of 2015. The attorneys lied. They said there would be a timely exit strategy for the nine illegal occupants.
Instead, Veteran homelessness has increased. So has the illegal occupation of Veterans land.
How can you all live with yourselves?

I have to live with myself, and so,

Self-respecting and conscience free.
Mr. Kane, you and your fellow culprits involved in the biggest land-fraud scandal in American history need to look at yourselves. Admit what failures, what imposters you all are. Resign, posthaste.
